Spring Thing Event registration – Without Bag
Following the success of both Virtual Challenge and the Festive Funday, Central Yorkshire Scouts have organised our Spring Thing event for all sections on Saturday 24 April 2021.
As with the previous events, Leader participation and involvement is not required (but you are very welcome to join us too!). All we ask is that you share the following poster to all your parents to give them and all your young people the opportunity to register and sign up if they would like. By all means, you can organise this as a section or a group, but there is no expectation that you will do this.
We intend to send all leaders a copy of the programme in advance, along with a ‘badge tracker’ to help you marry up the activities with badge requirements and will let you know how many of your young people have signed up direct (with names if they give us permission to do so).
All event material will be visible to view for weeks after the event so if anyone wants to register but take part at a later stage, they can do.
Please note that the deadline for registering to purchase a bag of equipment (£7.50 per bag) is 22 March 2021 and all payments must be made by 5 April 2021 so that the order is fulfilled. Bags can be collected from a large number of locations or there will be an option for home delivery for an additional £5 per order.
Alternatively, people can register for the event to get the information and an equipment list to source their own materials in preparation free of charge.
Badges can be ordered separately for £1.50 each including delivery.
