Planning a safe return to face to face Scouts

Given the Government’s guidance, all face-to-face Scout meetings, activities and events are suspended. This suspension applies to young people and adults, and will be until further notice. We will continue to follow official guidance. The safety of everyone involved in Scouts, both young people and adults, is our number one priority. That is always at the heart of our decision making.

I am incredibly pleased to announce that after a somewhat extended search process, Carol Milburn has been appointed to lead Central Yorkshire Scouts as your new County Commissioner.

Many of you will know Carol in her current role as Deputy County Commissioner (Adult Support). Carol has a wealth of Scouting experience and has held many roles in Central Yorkshire including being an Assistant County Commissioner supporting programme for three different sections, District Commissioner of North Leeds, and a Jamboree Unit Leader.
